General description
インテグリンアルファM／ベータ2は、単球、マクロファージ、顆粒球のさまざまな付着相互作用に関与するとともに、補体被覆粒子の取り込みの仲介にも関与しています。補体第3成分のiC3bフラグメントの受容体であるCR3と同一です。C3bのR-G-Dペプチドを認識すると考えられています。インテグリンアルファM／ベータ2は、フィブリノゲン、第X因子、ICAM1の受容体でもあります。フィブリノゲンガンマ鎖のP1およびP2ペプチドを認識します。

Biochem/physiol Actions
ほとんどのマクロファージ（常在腹膜マクロファージおよび活性化マクロファージを含む）、クッパー細胞を認識しますが、肺胞マクロファージは35%しか認識しません。 抗体は、広範な樹状細胞、顆粒球、脳内ミクログリアの形態を有する細胞も標識します。抗体は、150、103、95 KDaの3種類のポリペプチドを沈殿させます。抗体は補体を介したロゼットを阻害し、CR3と呼ばれる、ヒトのIC3b受容体のラット同等物であると考えられています。
