Probumin^® BSA grades are distinguished by differences in production. The use of terms such as ‘Diagnostic Grade’ or ‘Vaccine Grade’ in product names solely indicates that said products are commonly used by customers in those applications. We have not qualified every single product in every conceivable application. Users should qualify Probumin BSA grades using the specific reagents, conditions and constraints of their assay.

A high purity, low endotoxin and low IgG BSA powder preparation with near native albumin characteristics. This BSA is first isolated by a proprietary heat-shock/ organic solvent process and further purified by non solvent based methodologies to reduce endotoxins to very low levels resulting in a highly monomeric bovine albumin that retains many of the binding, transfer, and physical properties of native albumin. Purity is ≥ 98%; typical purity is 100%. This BSA may be used for molecular biology applications.
