Removes free chlorine, organics and particles to protect the RO membrane.

Features and Benefits

  • The Progard® TNP2 pretreatment pack is constructed from polypropylene and EPDM.
  • Suitable for tap water feed with silt density index (SDI) < 12 and Cl2 < 3 ppm, and TOC < 2000 ppb.
  • Natural activated carbon media exhibits a high surface area and adsorption kinetic, tolerating feed water containing up to 3 ppm of chlorine and 2000 ppb of TOC. Removes free chlorine and organic compounds.
  • The natural activated carbon selected has been impregnated with silver to enhance pretreatment performance.
  • Depth filter media exhibits a high capacity and optimized retention, tolerating feed water SDI up to 12 and removes particles.
  • 100% traceability with e-Sure Tag - Incorporates RFID technology. This provides instant visibility on pack parameters and ensures a safe and optimal performance of the system, giving full traceability.

General description

The Progard® TNP2 Pretreatment Pack pretreats tap water by removing large particles, organic compounds and free chlorine. This protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane against organic fouling and chlorine oxidation.
Progard® TNP2 Pretreatment Pack ensures that your system lifetime and performance are optimized.
Replacement of consumables, when requested by the system, is key to maintain the system′s performance within specifications.
Designed for use with AFS® Essential, Elix® Advantage, Elix® Reference, Elix® Essential, Milli-Q® Integral, and RiOs™ Essential water purification systems.
