      Description
OverviewAn epoxysuccinyl peptide highly selective for rat liver cathepsin L (IC50 = 1.9 nM), while exhibiting little to no effect on rat liver cathepsin B at concentrations higher than 1000-5000 nM, in vitro. During autophagy, it has been shown through immunoblotting that CAA0225 (10 µg/ml) effectively inhibits the degradation of LC3-II and GABARAP compared to control, in nutrient-deprived HeLa and Huh-7 cells.
