The following MAPmates™ should not be plexed together:
-MAPmates™ that require a different assay buffer
-Phospho-specific and total MAPmate™ pairs, e.g. total GSK3β and GSK3β (Ser 9)
-PanTyr and site-specific MAPmates™, e.g. Phospho-EGF Receptor and phospho-STAT1 (Tyr701)
-More than 1 phospho-MAPmate™ for a single target (Akt, STAT3)
-GAPDH and β-Tubulin cannot be plexed with kits or MAPmates™ containing panTyr

Rad51, previously known as DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 1, is involved in DNA repair. RAD51 interacts with BRCA1 and BRCA2, which are both associated with breast cancer, to activate homologous recombination and DNA damage repair. BRCA1 is present in heredity forms of breast cancer that results in the conversion of ARG to GLN. BRCA2 regulates intercellular localization and DNA binding ability. Loss of BRCA2 results in genomic instability and tumorgenesis. RAD51 acts as ATPase to repair double strand breaks and also unwinds DNA to form a helical nucleoprotein filament.
