Description
OverviewCell permeable. Blocks glibenclamide-sensitive K+ channels. Inhibits neuronal nitric oxide synthase (IC50 = 90 µM). Also inhibits hepatic drug metabolism by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 system. Stimulates endothelial cell prostacyclin production while inhibiting platelet thromboxane synthesis. Potentiates the action of many drugs in vivo.
