Description
OverviewRecombinant, human granzyme B expressed in E. coli. Granzyme B (GzmB) is a serine protease that is used by activated cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) to induce target cell apoptosis. It is involved in the perforation of target cells and initiation of proteolysis that leads the cell into the apoptosis pathway.

DescriptionRecombinant, human granzyme B expressed in E. coli. Granzyme B (GzmB) is a serine protease that is involved in cytotoxic T lymphocyte-induced (CTL) cell death. It is reported to participate in the perforation of target cells and initiation of proteolysis that leads apoptosis. Similar to caspases, granzyme B preferentially cleaves substrate proteins with aspartic acid in the P1 position.
