Cellvento™ CHO cell culture medium portfolio expands

With Cellvento™ CHO cell culture media, you have come to rely on superior chemically defined, non-animal origin media formulations for batch and fed-batch mode operations. Now, Merck is excited to announce that we have expanded our portfolio to include three new products that specifically address DHFR negative cell lines: Cellvento™ CHO-110 medium, Cellvento™ CHO-210 medium and Cellvento™ Feed-210.

Cellvento™ CHO-110 medium is recommended for batch application and seed train expansion as it is a rich formulation supporting high cell growth.

Cellvento™ CHO-210 medium and its companion feeds are effective at achieving and supporting high-density cell growth and competitive productivity with DHFR negative CHO suspension cell types and expression systems, especially recombinant CHO DG44 cell lines.

These new products are made from the finest raw materials, which we produce in our facilities or source only from qualified suppliers who meet our high expectations for traceability. All ingredients are milled in a gentle process at our cGMP facility to create a homogeneous dry powder that dissolves effectively and uniformly. And with in-depth Regulatory Information Packages, our media can help your products perform smoothly during approvals.
