Publishing Revolutionary Research
Imaging flow cytometry makes it possible.

Cumulative number of publications featuring Amnis® data by year.

Amnis® quantitative Imaging features have changed how researchers study cell signaling, internalization, and morphological changes.
Scientific progress depends on sharing ideas via peer-reviewed research papers. So the most rigorous measure of any technological innovation may lie in its prevalence in the scientific literature.

We help make the publication of revolutionary research possible, through our Amnis® imaging flow cytometers. Even before the first commercial instruments shipped in 2005, data generated on our systems in beta testing were attracting attention. Today, scientists in diverse disciplines—including immunology, oncology, biochemistry, microbiology, nanotechnology, toxicology and drug discovery—are using Amnis®-generated data about cell characteristics to support their groundbreaking research.

Amnis® imaging flow cytometers combine the speed and statistical power of flow cytometry with the visual advantages of microscopy. The enhanced sensitivity of the instrument's high-speed camera has already demonstrated the ability to analyze important submicron biological and physical particles that were previously undetectable by flow cytometers. This technology dramatically increases the amount of information that can be gathered from a single cell, and when multiplied by thousands of cells, provides unparalleled information-rich data from every sample.

Visual data acquired on Amnis® instruments have been featured on the covers of Immunology, Virology, Leukocyte Biology and the April 2015 issue of Endocrine-Related Cancer.
