Spectroquant® Sulfite Test for the Enjoyment of Your Customers |
In some countries, especially those with hot climates, sulfite is added to stabilize beer. As an antioxidant and preservative it extends shelf life. Unfortunately, sulfite can cause allergic reactions in consumers. This can generally be avoided by limiting the sulfite concentration to 20 mg/l.
However, in some kits on the market the yellow color of beer can interfere with the test reagents. Merck's Spectroquant® sulfite test is a sulfite concentration measurement you can rely on. For it provides the accuracy you need. Color interference is avoided by a built-in dilution step during the analysis. Only the color of very intensely yellow beer might interfere.
Making sure your beer has the right balance of sulfite is critical to the enjoyment of your customers.
To make your analysis easier we provide not only a wide range of test-tools, but also multiple services for your support.
Spectroquant® by Merck provides you with a start-to-finish solution for your analysis.
