OverviewA cell-permeable urea compound that acts as a potent and AMP-competitive inhibitor of glycogen phosphorylase (GP; IC50 = 53 nM). Shown to inhibit glucagon-induced glyocgenolysis both in hepatocytes (IC50 = 380 nM) in vitro and in rats (5 mg/kg, iv) in vivo.
