Description
OverviewSynthetic benzothiazepine that acts as an L-type Ca2+ channel antagonist. Similar in function to Nifedipine (Cat. No. 481981) and Verapamil (Cat. No. 676777). Has negative inotropic effects on the heart. Strongly suppresses conductance at the A-V node and automaticity at the S-A node. Has also been shown to regulate Ca2+ release from intracellular stores in neutrophils.
