Application CommentsDue to the small epitope size, overnight incubation with the antibody greatly increases sensitivity by immunoblotting. Determined by competitive ELISA and immunoblotting to recognize the chromophore structure of fluorophore derived from the reaction of 4-HNE with primary amines. Does not recognize 1:1 cysteine-, 1:1 histidine-, or 1:1 lysine-HNE Michael Adducts. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
