      Overview

      Replacement Information
      Description
OverviewA cell-permeable Tautomycin (Cat. No. 580551) structural analog that acts as a selective PP1 inhibitor with ~38-fold greater potency compared to PP2A (IC50 = 1.6 nM for PP1 and 62 nM for PP2A). Inhibits LDP-1, PP2B, and PP5 only at much higher concentrations (IC50 ≥ 1 µM). Shown to completely inhibit intracellular PP1 activity at 5 µM without affecting PP2A in COS-7 cells. TMC is superior to Cyclosporin A (Cat. No. 239835) as a T cell immunosuppressor both in vitro and in vivo.
