      A cell-permeable acylguanidine compound that inhibits NHE-1-meidated pH recovery after acidosis in PS120 cells (IC50 = 2.0 µM). Shown exhibit cardioprotective efficacy both in an isolated rat heart ischemia model in vitro and in a rat myocardial infarction model in vivo.
