Description
OverviewA biphenyl neolignan and an active principle of Magnolia extract that displays anti-angiogenic, anti-tumor and anxiolytic properties. Shown to induce apoptosis and preferentially inhibit the growth of primary human endothelial cells over fibroblasts by blocking VEGFR2 autophosphorylation and subsequent rac activation. Also blocks the in vivo growth of SVR angiosarcoma in nude mice.
