Application NotesELISA on human collagen type IV: 1:3,000

Indirect immunofluorescent visualization of collagen type IV on cryostat sections of human tissue: 1:20-1:40, fresh frozen or acetone fixed specimens only.

Dot and slot blots: 1:300.

Not recommended for use in Western blot, or for use on paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

SpecificityAntibody reacts with native and heat denatured human type IV collagen. Less than 10% cross reactivity with collagen types I, III, and V, and less than 1% with human collagen II. Antiserum was passed over immobilized human blood plasma proteins, and human collagen types I, III, and V. Human plasma proteins do not interfere with binding to collagen.
