Description
OverviewNative thyroglobulin, consisting of two polypeptide monomers of 33 kDa each, purified from human thyroid. This protein is an excellent source of N-linked glycans of various structures, including sialylated core fucose and oligomannose oligosaccharides. Also, Gal-3-SO4 and GalNAc-6-SO4 residues located in a single multi-branched complex type glycan have been reported in calf thymus and human proteins.

Revision11-December-2009 RFH
DescriptionNative thyroglobulin, consisting of two polypeptide monomers of 330 kDa each, purified from human thyroid. When subjected to native PAGE this protein shows a band at
~660 kDa, representing the dimeric form, and another band at ~330 kDa, representing the monomeric form.
