Description
Overview

This product has been discontinued.

An end-protected 40-mer peptide derived from the N-terminal fragment of the Nogo-66 domain that acts as a selective, competitive, high affinity antagonist of Nogo-66 receptor (NgR). Although NgR serves as the common receptor for both Nogo-66 and MAG (myelin-associated glycoprotein), NEP1-40 blocks only the inhibition of neurite outgrowth induced by Nogo-66, but not that by MAG. Promotes axonal regeneration after spinal cord injury in rats.
