Description
OverviewPotent cell-permeable anticancer agent whose potential target site may be mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase. Has been shown to inhibit RNA and DNA synthesis. Inhibits eukaryotic topoisomerases I and II. Induces DNA single-strand breaks. Also induces apoptosis in HeLa S3 tumor cells.
