EZ-Fit™ Filtration Units for convenience without compromise in bioburden testing
There is no room for error when it comes to microbial testing. There are, however, hurdles to jump in order to secure the contamination-free bioburden testing of liquid samples like water, process samples, or final products. Our
EZ-Fit™ Filtration Units will help jump those often difficult hurdles, such as contamination, quality assurance, microbial recovery, time restraints and overall inconvenience.
Our sterilized, disposable filtration devices for bioburden testing streamline your workflow, save time and give you highly reliable microbial enumeration results.
The blue and pink drain support and the funnel-to-base assembly have been optimized so that the membrane remains perfectly flat after the sample filtration. When transferred to the culture medium, the entire filtration surface of the membrane is in perfect contact with the culture media. In addition, the shape of the funnel and the hydrophobic material minimize sample residue, ensuring that the complete sample volume reaches the membrane surface. The innovative funnel assembly design prevents leaks or sample by-pass of the membrane, thus ensuring that the whole sample volume is filtered.
The EZ-Fit™ Filtration Units conform to international standards (EP/USP) and comply with water testing regulations. In addition, as always, we are committed to sustainability and recognize that all our products have an impact on the environment. Our EZ-Fit™ Filtration Units are disposable; see our fact sheet below for responsible waste management techniques.
Additional Benefits include:
- Drain support and optimized funnel-to-base assembly ensure optimal microbial recovery.
- Reduced risk of contaminating the membrane with forceps because EZ-Fit™ Filtration Units include protective rims.
- Transparent funnel material allows visibility from any angle.
- Units are stackable, saving space in the work area.
- 250 ml funnels allow larger volume samples.
