      Revision08-June-2016 RB
DescriptionCatalyzes the hydrolysis of NAD. Can be used as a reagent for the detection of Rho proteins. Predominantly catalyzes the ADP ribosylation of the Asn41 amino acid residue in Rho. Treatment of cultured cells with exoenzyme C3 has been shown to induce ADP-ribosylation of RhoA protein and to reduce cell growth rate and saturation density. Its growth inhibitory effects appear to result from blockage at the G1 to S phase transition, causing the accumulation of cells in the G1 phase.
