General description

ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone), Corticosterone, and Melatonin are key indicators of physiological stress and circadian rhythm regulation. ACTH stimulates the adrenal cortex to release corticosterone, a primary stress hormone in rodents, while melatonin modulates sleep-wake cycles and is influenced by light exposure and stress. Measuring these analytes provides valuable insights into neuroendocrine function, HPA axis activity, and behavioral stress responses in rodent models, supporting research in neuroscience, endocrinology, and toxicology.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 3 analytes in rat serum, plasma, tissue lysate, or cell culture supernatants.
