      Overview

      Replacement Information
      Description
OverviewA membrane-permeant biphenyl-methoxy-phenylpropanoate compound that acts as an active-site targeting, selective, potent agonist of G-protein coupled receptor 120/GPR120 (EC50 of β-arrestin 2 recruitment = 17 nM and 44 nM for mGPR120 and hGPR120, respectively; EC50 of Ca++ mobilization = 96 nM for hGPR120). Exhibits much reduced potency toward free fatty acid receptor 1/FFA1/GPR40 (EC50 of β-arrestin 2 recruitment = 64.6 µM) and no activity toward short chain FFA receptors FFA2/GPR43 and FFA3/GPR41.
