Application
The external preatreatment cable is used when an external pretreatment unit is installed upstream a Milli-Q® HX/HXSD/HR/CLX 7000 series water purification systems.
General description
The external pretreatment cable is used to transmit an open/closed type of signal to the system when a pre-treatment device is not producing water due to automatic maintenance (i.e. softener regenerating). When the UF pretreatment unit (ZUFPREUN0) is ordered with its accessory bag (ZUFPREUN8), this cable is already included as part of the UF Accessory bag. For other external pre-treatment, this cable has to be ordered along with the flow drain switch (ZLXPTFSW).
