This system includes primary neural stem cells isolated from the spinal cord of embryonic day 15-18 (E15-E18) C57/BL6 mice, neural stem cell expansion medium, and a panel of antibodies for immunocytochemical staining of neural stem/progenitor cells (Nestin and Sox2) and differentiated neural phenotypes (Map2ab for neurons, GFAP for astrocytes, and O1 for oligodendrocytes).
