DescriptionPurified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~75-110 kDa SIRPα and SIRPα1 proteins.
BackgroundSIRPα is a novel SHP-2-associated glycoprotein that is a substrate of many activated tyrosine kinases such as EGFR, insulin receptor, PDGFR, and Src. SIRPα has regulatory effects on cellular responses induced by serum, growth factors, insulin, oncogenes, growth hormones, and cell adhesion and plays a general role in other physiological and pathological processes.
