DescriptionMouse monoclonal antibody supplied as undiluted ascites. Recognizes the β6 integrin chain.
BackgroundThe integrins are a family of more than 23 heterodimeric transmembrane proteins that mediate cell-cell adhesions as well as cell-substratum adhesions and signal transduction processes. Integrins are heterodimers consisting of noncovalently associated α and β subunits. Integrin β6 has been shown to play a role in cell spreading, migration, and growth during reorganization of epithelia in development, tissue repair, and neoplasia.
