Merck offers a broad range of Spectromelt® fluxes and other materials for sample preparation in your X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) applications. Our product portfolio for XRF sample preparation comprises Spectromelt® borates for fusion (Spectromelt® A and B), numerous additives for fusion, as well as pre-weighted Spectromelt® tablets for grinding and tabletting (Spectromelt® C).

Thanks to their exceptionally high purity and batch consistency, Spectromelt® A and B borates facilitate very homogeneous samples, precise analysis and reduced need for instrument adjustments. Our Spectromelt® C series of XRF reagents has been designed as a grinding and tabletting aid and optimized for automated sample preparation where speed of analysis is essential.
