FAQ

QuestionAnswer
When would I need to use the Streptavidin Peroxidase?Horseradish Peroxidase Streptavidin is produced by a coupling procedure which preserves the high specific activity of the peroxidase. Using biotinylated primary or secondary intermediates and peroxidase-labeled Streptavidin, antigens can be localized in histological sections, cytospin preparations, or smears. In addition, sensitive detection systems for a variety of solid-phase assays utilizing microtitration plates or nitrocellulose have been developed using this conjugate. It is not intended as a primary, as much as it is a secondary.
