OverviewKaiser's glycerol gelatin - for microscopy, is an aqueous mounting medium consisting of gelatine, glycerol, and phenol, and is used primarily in the mounting of stained histology specimens (e. g. HEMATOGNOST Fe® - staining kit (Cat.no.1.12084). The pH of the product lies in the neutral range. Prior to use, the mounting medium is melted in the heating cabinet at approx. 60 °C and simply applied to the specimen using a glass rod. This product is registered as IVD and CE marked.
