OverviewThe (1:1) mixture of DMEM and Ham's-F12 media has improved levels of different nutrients through the contribution of Ham's F-12. It has found utility for the growth of a wide range of mammalian cells when supplemented with growth factors, hormones or serum (e.g to grow human proteins such as erythropoetin).
