Broader Range for Utmost Flexibility with Sulfate Tests

Sulfate is essential for human health. Hence, it is often added to bottled water, normally at concentrations below 50 mg/l. The mineral is also present in tap water. However, high sulfate levels can pose risks, such as corrosion or bursting of pipes, and diminished water quality. To prevent these, regulatory bodies have set maximum limits, typically around 250 mg/l.

Whether testing bottled water with low sulfate levels, or tap water with higher concentrations, our new reagent-based Spectroquant® Sulfate Test is the ideal choice. It not only offers an extended measuring range of 5 – 300 mg/l, but also excellent cost efficiency with 100 or 1000 determinations per pack. Alternatively, our new Spectroquant® Cell Test for low sulfate levels, which is available as 25 prefilled cuvettes, minimizes handling steps for maximum convenience.

Accuracy Without Turbidity with Manganese Tests

Manganese is also important for our wellbeing, particularly for bone formation and metabolism. Yet, excessive ingestion of the metal is harmful, and may cause serious disorders. High concentrations in public water pipes can also lead to corrosion. Consequently, regulatory organizations recommend a maximum limit of approximately 0.05 mg/l.

Our Spectroquant® Manganese Tests for drinking water analysis have always offered accurate results and easy handling. Now, they also avoid any risk of turbidity. The new tests are available as economical reagent-based formats, or as ready-to-use prefilled cuvettes.
