      Description
OverviewEnzymatically prepared tetrasaccharide which acts as a minimal binding ligand for E-selectins. SLex reduces injury following ischemia and reperfusion and immune complex-induced acute lung injury in animal models. In both of these models, SLex is presumed to act by blocking E-selectin-mediated neutrophil recruitment to sites of inflammation.
