      OverviewNative plasminogen (EACA- and lysine-free) from human plasma. Plasminogen is a single chain glycoprotein found in normal plasma at ~12 mg per deciliter, and is the inactive precursor of the serine protease plasmin.

      DescriptionNative plasminogen (EACA- and lysine-free) from human plasma. Single chain glycoprotein containing 790 amino acid residues. Found in normal plasma at about 12 mg/100 ml. Inactive precursor of the serine protease plasmin. It is converted to the active protease by cleavage at Arg560.
