      Enzymatic component of the holotoxin. Has both NAD-glycohydrolase and ADP-ribosyltransferase activities. Inhibits neutrophil-mediated inflammation in vivo via its ADP-ribosylation activity. Unable to penetrate cells in the absence of the B oligomer.
