      OverviewAn aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Inhibitor of protein biosynthesis that acts on the 30S ribosome, causing misreading of the genetic code. May cause renal damage and ototoxicity.
      Contains >98% kanamycin A. Potency: ≥750 µg/mg
      Recommended working concentration: 100 µg/ml.

Useful for the selection of kanamycin resistant plasmids in E. coli. Tested and found to be negative for cytotoxicity against HeLa cells. Contains more than 98% kanamycin A.
