      Recombinant, human VEGF165 (165 amino acid splice variant of VEGF) expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. A heparin-binding glycoprotein with potent angiogenic, endothelial cell-specific mitogenic, and vascular permeability-enhancing activities. Increases endothelial cell proliferation after vascular injury. Supplied as a glycosylated, disulfide-linked homodimer.
