      OverviewThe Milli-Q® IX Purification Cartridge kit includes:
      • IPAK Gard® H 3-5 Pretreatment Pack (for Hard water) protects the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane from hard water components. Purification technologies include activated carbon to protect against free chlorine, polyphosphate beads to protect against scaling and precipitates, and a depth filter to remove particulates and colloids.
      • Tank Vent filter protects stored pure (Type 2) water from airborne contaminants. It includes activated carbon, soda lime, and membrane filter to prevent impure air from entering the tank.
      For use with Milli-Q® IX 7003/05. In addition, 63% of the parts suppliers for IPAK Gard® cartridge included in this kit are ISO 14001 environmental management system-certified.
