      Overview

      Replacement Information
      Description
      OverviewA tetrapeptidyl fluorogenic substrate for human cathepsin L (kcat = 20.8 sec-1, Km = 11.2 µM, and kcat/Km = 1.9 x 106 M-1 sec-1). Displays ~270-fold and ~2,500-fold greater selectivities over cathepsin B (kcat/Km = 7.0 x 103 M-1 sec-1),respectively and cathepsin K (kcat/Km = 7.6 x 102 M-1 sec-1). An excitation wavelength of 380 nm and an emission wavelength of 460 nm is recommended in order to maximize the signal of the ACC group over the background signal of uncleaved substrate.
