      Native neuron specific enolase from human brain. A dimeric isoenzyme (γγ) found in adult neurons that functions as a neuronal growth factor. A specific quantitative marker for neuronal damage and death. Also serves as a useful marker for neuroblastoma, small cell lung carcinomas, and neuroendocrine cancers. Useful markers for neuronal differentiation and as a standard in ELISA assays.
