      Description
OverviewCell permeable. Potently inhibits Aβ42 production (IC50 = 1.8 µM). Treatment of HEK293 cells with this inhibitor results in β-Secretase-cleaved APP fragments and secreted APPα, but no change in secreted APPsβ is observed indicating specific inhibition of γ-secretase.

      Synonyms1-(S)-endo-N-(1,3,3)-Trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-yl)-4-fluorophenyl Sulfonamide
DescriptionA potent, cell-permeable inhibitor of γ-secretase that blocks the formation of Aβ42 (IC50 = 1.8 µM). Treatment of HEK293 cells with γ-secretase inhibitor VI results in an increase in β-secretase-cleaved, APP fragments and secreted APPSα, but no change in secreted APPSβ, indicating a specific inhibition of γ-secretase activity.
