Application

Tryptic Soy Broth is used for sterility testing of non-sterile substances, preparations, products, as well as a pre-enrichment broth to test the specified microorganisms or determine total viable aerobic count using the MPN method.

Our ready to use media provide the highest level of quality and testing confidence. They have been formulated and tested to meet the pharmacopoeia requirements. Sterility testing media and rinse solutions are manufactured in an ISO 9001, environmentally controlled production center. Each lot undergoes a stringent quality control (QC) procedure, including pH, sterility and growth promotion tests. Our manufacturing approach ensures the highest level of clarity for our media and rinsing fluids, therefore improving accuracy and significantly reducing the risk of incorrect interpretation and false results.

General description

Tryptic soy broth is suitable for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious aerobic bacteria, yeasts, and molds. Two highly nutritious peptones support the growth of a wide variety of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms, including fungi.
