Monospecific for serum amyloid P as determined by ouchterlony and immunoelectrophoresis. Immunofluorescence and immunoperoxidase staining of human tissues specifically identifies only those structures known to contain SAP. This antibody has also been reported to work for ELISA and radial immunodiffusion. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.
