      Description
      OverviewHas immunomodulatory properties in vitro and in vivo. Prevents the development of clinical diabetes in NOD mice, an animal model of human autoimmune diabetes. Regulates c-myc transcription. Induces reversible hydrolysis of sphingomyelin cycle and generates ceramide. Stimulates intestinal Ca2+ and phosphate transport and mobilizes Ca2+ from bone. Also available as a 1 mM solution in DMSO (Cat. No. 509721).
