General description

For the production of M-Gredient® Soy Peptone A1 defatted soya meal is digested with the enzyme papain into amino acids and peptides. Soy peptone is a non-animal peptone that contains a broad range of nutrients. It is characterized by a well-balanced mix of essential amino acids and vitamins which facilitates excellent growth of a wide range of microorganisms

Application

Our M-Gredient® Soy Peptone A1 Papaic Digested, Granulated, Prime, for Biotechnology and Microbiology can be used in culture media production as nutritive substrate for cultivation of a large variety of microorganisms. Thanks to its well-controlled particle size, clarity, and density, this product is particularly suitable for diagnostic and quality control (QC) applications, while it can also be used for industrial fermentation. Our special granulation of the soy peptone ensures rapid and uniform dissolution in water, as well as convenient and safe handling, as it prevents clumping and inhalation of the airborne powder.

Features and Benefits

Our Granulated media are:
  • Safer - Significant reduction of inhalation of toxic and allergenic substances resulting in fewer allergic responses. Less contamination of working tools and environment
  • Accurate - No separation of components and no clumping, even under humid or warm conditions, ensure a uniform product with higher performance accuracy
  • Fast - Rapid and uniform dissolution in water
  • Easier - Easier handling and weighing due to the better flow properties. Media do not stick to the flask or container
  • Reliable - Homogenous distribution of ingredients guarantees high reproducibility even if only small amounts of media are used.
