RIPK2 is a dual-specificity kinase that exhibits both serine/threonine as well as tyrosine kinase activities. RIPK2 participates in transducing cellular inflammatory response by propagating signaling downstream of the intracellular peptidoglycan sensors NOD1 and NOD2.
