      DescriptionUbcH8 Conjugating Enzyme, 100 µg
OverviewUbcH8 is a class I ubiquitin-conjugating (E2) enzyme highly similar in structure to UbcH7. UbcH8 is a primary target gene of interferon-alpha and gamma, and recent studies have indicated that UbcH8 is the E2 enzyme for the ubiquitin-like protein ISG15. These studies suggest overlap between the ISG15 and ubiquitin conjugation pathways, and have important implications for understanding the regulation and function of ISG15 in the IFN alpha/beta response. Typical enzyme concentration to support conjugation in vitro is 100nM to 1μM depending upon conditions.
