Sodium perchlorate monohydrate can be used as:
  • An oxidizing agent for effectively removing color from textile wastewaters.
  • A component of the mobile phase buffer in ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) to analyze active ingredients in topical pharmaceutical formulations.
  • A supporting electrolyte in the preparation of polypyrrole films.
