TMB (Soluble Substrate) produces a higher signal with the lowest background and outperforms other commercially available TMB single-component substrates offering the best signal to noise ratio possible.

Different lots of TMB (Soluble Substrate) were compared in an ELISA containing 5 µg horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. The absorbance at 620 nm was measured at the indicated times.

TMB (Soluble Substrate) was stored at 0°C, 4°C, 25°C or 37°C for 30 days and then tested for stability. The following graph demonstrates the stability of TMB (Soluble Substrate) where performance and background absorbance values remain consistent even after 30 days of stress conditions.

Application CommentsProduct does not contain hazardous ingredients such as polar aprotic solvents (i.e., N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) or DMSO) that are found in other TMB formulations. There is also no alcohol in TMB (Soluble Substrate) so it is not flammable and does not require special handling for shipping. Unreacted TMB (Soluble Substrate) should be colorless or a very light-bluish-green prior to use.
